Concern for Missing Morda Teenager Believed to be in Shrewsbury
Police have appealed for the public's help to find a teenage girl missing from her home in Morda, near Oswestry for two days.
Chloe Davies, aged 15, is believed to have caught a train from Gobowen to Shrewsbury on Tuesday July 27.
She is believed to still be in the Shrewsbury area, possibly staying with a man in his late teens somewhere in the town.
Inspector Simon Lewis, from Shrewsbury Police Station, said concern was growing for Chloe as she had not been in touch with her family since she left home on Tuesday.
Aggravated Vehicle Theft in Highley
At least two men stole a car and then forced the owner off the road when he found them a short time later in a village near Bridgnorth. Police are appealing for information about the incident, which happened between just after midnight and about 12.30am yesterday(JUL 26) in Highley.
A blue Vauxhall Astra was stolen from the driveway of a house in Hazelwells Road. When the owner noticed it missing, he went out in another car to search for it.
Serious Assault in Shrewsbury
A man suffered facial injuries and was knocked unconscious after being assaulted in what appears to have been an unprovoked attack in Shrewsbury town centre.
The victim was talking with friends near the car park between Barker Street and Hills Lane at about 12.30am on Saturday(JUL 24) when he was attacked.
He was approached by a man believed to be in his 20s, who hit him numerous times, knocking him to the ground and eventually rendering him unconscious.
The offender then made off across the car parks towards Montgomery's Tower.
DIY Store robbery in Newport
Police in Telford are investigating following a robbery at the Focus DIY store in Newport. The incident occurred at the store on Audley Avenue at some time between 10.55pm and 11.30pm on Monday 12th July.
At around 11pm the company responsible for the alarm at the premises notified the key holders to warn them that the alarm had been activated. Two key holders for the business, a woman in her mid 40s and a woman in her mid 30s, quickly attended the scene and made their way inside the building through the staff entrance to turn off the alarm.
Robbery near Telford Railway Station: Police seek information
Telford Police officers are appealing for information following a robbery close to the railway station on Euston Way on Friday 9th July. At some time between 7.50pm and 8.25pm, as the victim made his way home from work on Stafford Park along a secluded footpath near Fitness First, he was approached by three unknown men.
Assault in Leegomery
Police in Telford are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Leegomery. The incident occurred on Hurleybrook Way on Sunday 27th June.
Sometime between 5.30pm and 5.45pm, it appears that the victim - a 19-year-old man - was followed and then approached by a group of unknown men. As the victim reached a set of steps to the rear of one of the properties on Hurleybrook Way, two of the unknown men punched the victim a number of times to the body and face.
Telford & Wrekin Music Big Sing 2010
One thousand five hundred pupils from primary schools across the borough are coming together for a summer mass celebration of singing and music on Tuesday 29 June.
The 'Telford Big Sing 2010' will take place at AFC Telford United Football Stadium and follows on from the successful Big Sing 2009 at AFC Telford United. Both events are organised by Telford & Wrekin Music and led by Mary Keith and Paul Wilcox.
Man Who Died in Market Drayton Named
A man who collapsed and died in Market Drayton shortly after police were called to a disturbance in the street has been formally identified. Jason Pearce was 38 years old and came from the St Georges area of Telford.
A post mortem has been held and police are awaiting the results of further tests before an inquest can be opened into Mr Pearce’s death.
An investigation is being carried out into the circumstances leading up to the incident and his death.
Police Renew Appeal Following Market Drayton Death
A man who collapsed and died in Market Drayton shortly after police were called to a street disturbance, is expected to be formally identified later today.

It happened just after 5.30pm on Saturday in Sambrook Crescent. Officers detained the man after being called to a disturbance in the street. He collapsed moments later before he could be removed and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Fun day for disabled children and their carers and families
A family fun day organised by Telford & Wrekin Council's disabled children's team aims to build on the success of last year's event.
Ican2 will be opened by Paralympian gold medallist Debbie Brennan and Councillor Stephen Burrell, Telford & Wrekin Council's cabinet member for children and young people.
The free event runs from 11am-4pm on Saturday June 19 at Telford International Centre and is aimed at disabled children and those with additional needs.
