Jaded Bucks scrap for King's Lynn point
AFC Telford United 1-1 King's Lynn
Two goals in the last ten minutes, including an equaliser from Danny Carey-Bertram in stoppage-time, livened up a game which had looked destined to end scoreless from the very first whistle, writes Steve Humbles.

Jon Adams shot wide from distance on 11 minutes whilst for the Linnets Andrew Fisk fired past the post on 37 when well-placed after Kris Renton had nodded the ball down. The closest either side came to breaking the deadlock in a fairly drab first-period was when Carl Rodgers curled an effort just wide of Scott Howie's post on the stroke of half-time. In the second-half, Liam Blakeman's long-range strike on 56 minutes was comfortably gathered by Howie and the King's Lynn goalkeeper also made a good stop to deny Mark Danks on 71 after Lee Moore's pass.
As Telford stepped up the pressure James Meredith's long-range drive flew just over on 79 minutes. The visitors had a fortunate escape on 81 when Howie failed to collect Danny Edwards' corner but the Bucks couldn't scramble the loose ball over the line and, in a double whammy for Telford, the Linnets went straight up the other end and scored with their first notable shot on target; substitute Dominic Dwyer breaking free of the Bucks' defence and slotting past Ryan Young. Telford levelled in stoppage-time, however, as Moore's cross from the left was nodded back across goal and Carey-Bertram was on hand to sweep home from close-range.
