Public meetings in Donnington
The Donnington Partnership – a multi-agency group set up in the ward to work with local people to tackle quality of life issues – have confirmed that they will be holding the first in a series of newly launched public ‘workshop sessions’ on Monday 15th March.
The sessions are being launched in an attempt to engage with more local residents via a new forum and give them the opportunity to share their concerns about crime and anti-social behaviour with the organisations that can help to address them.
Community Support Officer (CSO) Amanda Hall, from the Donnington Local Policing Team (LPT), said:
“The Donnington Partnership will be holding several workshops and the first one is being held at Turreff Hall on Turreff Avenue in Donnington from 7pm until 9pm on Monday 15th March.
“The sessions are being run by TCAT (Telford College of Arts and Technology) with the support of other agencies including the Donnington LPT, Wrekin Housing Trust and Telford & Wrekin Council.
“The aim is to encourage people from the local community to work together as part of the partnership to inform us about the local issues that matter to them, what improvements they’d like to see made and what can be done to improve their lives.
“Hopefully, by working together we can find solutions to the problems that are raised and find ways for local residents to have an impact on the quality of their own lives and those people that live around them.”
