UKIP, will be fielding a candidate at the General Election. The United Kingdom Independence Party has announced councillor Denis Allen is the UKIP prospective parliamentary candidate for the Telford Constituency.

Denis says "The Labour Party promised a referendum on whether the British people wanted to surrender our rights and freedoms to the European Commission and then broke that promise when Gordon Brown sneaked off to Lisbon and signed that surrender document.

“Similarly the Conservatives gave a "Cast iron promise" that they would give us a referendum on the abdication of Westminster's powers to Brussels; but David Cameron did his usual trick of going back on his word and now is apparently quite happy to see the British ruled by foreign un-elected bureaucrats.

“The United Kingdom Independence Party wants the United Kingdom to become a self-ruling democracy again. Therefore the general Election on 6th May will be a referendum on our subjugation by the European Union.

If people want to be ruled by Brussels they have four choices: Don’t bother to vote; vote conservative; vote Labour; or vote Liberal Democrat.

But if they want to return to democratic self-rule they must vote for UKIP. Thus because of UKIP the British people will have their referendum after all."
