Plans to continue with the transformation of a Telford estate will go on show on Monday 3 August. A public exhibition of the proposals for the redevelopment of Woodside’s local centre are on display in the lobby at Park Lane Community Centre, Park Lane, Woodside for six weeks.
The creation of a new local centre in Woodside was identified by residents as a main issue affecting Woodside. Surveys show the centre’s redevelopment is a top priority for local residents.
Plans for the local centre, part of the Borough Towns Initiative, include demolishing the Dolphin pub, creating a new public square, new road access and development of new shops and houses by the local centre.
The exhibition is open weekdays 9am to 6pm. TWC encourages residents to visit it view and comment on the proposals.
