AFC Telford United and print partners Partnership Publishing Limited have produced this special FA Cup poster which will be handed out to all fans at the clubs home match against Hucknall Town this Saturday. Club officials are urging fans to place the posters in shop windows and places of work to drum up as much support as possible for the club's biggest game in it's short history.

PostHeaderIcon Admission prices announced

AFC Telford United have announced admission prices for their big FA Cup 1st Round tie against Southend United. The game will take place on Saturday 8th November 2008, kick off 3pm. The game is not all ticket.

Admission prices are as follows:

Sir Stephen Roberts Stand (Seated – Turnstiles M,N,O and P) will be £11 Adults £8 Concession and £1 Under 16’s. Season ticket holders will need to pay to enter but have first claim on their usual seats.

AFC Telford United are through to the FA Cup First Round Proper for the first time in the club's history after an electrifying team peformance saw the Bucks ease to a comprehensive victory at Blue Square Premier side Northwich Victoria writes Steve Humbles.

PostHeaderIcon Bucks in First Round draw

With Saturday's match at Northwich abandoned AFC Telford United made the hat for Sunday lunchtime's televised FA Cup First Round draw for the first time in the clubs short history.
Should United win their re-arranged match with Northwich they will face League One outfit Southend on either Saturday 8 or Sunday 9 November at the New Bucks Head.
Southend are currently in tenth place in League One just one point off the play-off places after 13 matches. They have experienced strikers Paul Furlong and ex-Wolves man Dougie Freedman in their squad.

Following Saturday's abandonment at Northwich Victoria AFC Telford United made this official club statement via their club website: AFC Telford United are extremely disappointed with certain aspects of yesterdays abandonment. Chairman, Lee Carter, expressed the clubs feelings to both the owner of Northwich Victoria FC, Mr Jim Rushe and the owner of their ground, Mr. Mike Connett. He was especially unhappy with the attitude displayed by the owner of the ground, Mr Mike Connett.

AFC Telford United's FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round tie at Northwich Victoria ended in controversy when referee Michael Naylor abandoned the match at half-time after Northwich's power supply failed.

PostHeaderIcon Top of the table win for Amateurs

Wellington Amateurs went six points clear at the top of the West Midlands Regional League Division One with a 2-1 win at School Grove against second placed Warley Development. 
The top of the table clash marked the fourth anniversary of the Amateurs first home game at their new School Grove ground since their move from Leegomery.
The Amateurs win was sealed in the second-half with goals from Steve Clifford and Mike Sheridon.

PostHeaderIcon Moors swept aside by Bucks

AFC Telford United swept Solihull Moors aside last night with a comprehensive 3-0 win. The result extends the Bucks unbeaten run to ten games and moves Rob Smith's team up to fourth place in the Blue Square North. The visitors who were beaten 2-1 at the same venue two weeks ago in the Setanta Shield started the game brightly without creating too many goal-scoring chances. But it was Telford who took the lead on 33 minutes when Andy Brown scrambled the ball over the line from close range after good work from Gavin Cowan following a Liam Blakeman corner.

PostHeaderIcon Palmer named as Telford's third legend

AFC Telford United have revealed that Steve Palmer is the third Legend to be honoured at the inaugural Hall of Fame Evening on Wednesday 26 November at the Whitehouse Hotel, sponsored by the Bucks Business Club. Steve Palmer represented Telford United between 1997 and 2003 making 217 appearances and scoring 33 goals and then the new AFC Telford United making 50 appearances scoring 2 goals. 'Stevie P' was a cult hero on the terraces during his first spell which was a period of high player turnover at the club.
