Blyth Spartans eased their relegation fears and dented AFC Telford United's play-off bid after securing a 2-0 win at Croft Park on Tuesday night.

Telford's Martyn Naylor received a late red card for a rash challenge.

With the Setanta Shield Final being postponed to a date yet to be arranged, AFC Telford United will now travel to Blyth Spartans on the originally scheduled date of Tuesday 17th March while the Setanta Shield Semi-Final at Barrow will now be played on Thursday 26th March.

AFC Telford United have confirmed that the Setanta Shield Semi-Final match against Barrow will now be played on Tuesday 17 March. The Bucks' scheduled match away against Blyth Spartans will now move to Thursday 2 April, kick off 7.45pm.

AFC Telford United have been chosen as the 'Team of the Round' for their FA Carlsberg Trophy Quarter-Final replay against Southport.
The club will be presented with an FA Presentation Plaque, will receive 20 complimentary tickets for the Trophy Final at Wembley on Saturday 9 May 2009 and will receive four cases of Carlsberg beer direct from Carlsberg.
The presentation of the plaque will be made by Mike Benson, the Vice Chairman of the FA Trophy Committee at the Semi-Final tie on Saturday 14 March 2009 against York City.
